Reykjavik Nights

By Arnaldur Indridason

Reykjavik Nights

Another prequel. I don’t always like these, I don’t always finish them, but this one is a little beauty in true Arnuldur style. Short stories, succinct.

It starts with Erlendur recently signed up in the police force. Working nights, he discovers the city is full of car crashes, robberies, drinkers and fighters. And sometimes an unexplained death.

Well worth the read and, if you’re an Erlendur fan, a treasure of a find.
